Virtual Ride Challenge

Our area non-profits need all of us now more than ever, so we are not canceling this fundraising event. We are going "virtual"!

Step 1 - Join a Team

Select a team from our list of participating nonprofits. Don't see the team you want? Email to learn more about starting a team.

Step 2 - Fundraise

Participants fundraise a minimum of $150. 100% of the money you raise goes directly to the nonprofit you are fundraising for!

Step 3 - Ride

Instead of a group ride, you will have a two-week window (August 21 - September 6) to ride your preferred distance and/or routes or participate using a spin/stationary bike. Similar to the in-person ride, you will register and select the distance you plan to ride (Family Fun Ride, Half Metric Century, Metric Century, and Century). We have a series of pre-planned routes available here for you to ride at your convenience during the two-week window, but you can also create your own route. Each outdoor route has a description and difficulty level.

Step 4 - Enter to Win Prizes

Once you have completed the route(s) of your choice, you have the option to participate in one of our seven challenges described below. In order to be eligible for the challenges, you will need to take a selfie or picture on your ride and tag Tour de Gem on Facebook with the hashtag #tourdegem2020, along with providing the time and/or distance on our bike. You will need to make the post public to be viewable by other participants. You can find directions on making your post public here. You also have the option to email your time/distance to if you do not want to post on social media.
