Riding  Together – for Cerebral Palsy Research

#PWP2023

It's back and better than ever- Whether you're an avid road cyclist, a weekend cruiser bike enthusiast, or a dedicated supporter of Cerebral Palsy research - the Pedal with Pete Columbus Event is here for you. The 22nd Annual Pedal with Pete Columbus event will be held again this year at Marysville High School (800 Amrine Mill Road, Marysville 43040) on Saturday July 29th (the weekend before Pelotonia).  We’ll have marked routes, rest/food stops and SAG (support and gear) service. For the kids, Nationwide Children's Hospital's Kid's Fest will be there, along with a balloon artist and juggler. There will be a “fun walk, ride and roll” and bike parade.  Please note: these activities are free but you must register all family members who will attend.

Beginning at Marysville High School, seven routes (8, 18, 36, 53, 62, 75 and 102 miles) will reveal a great deal of new territory to riders who are accustomed to the old Hilliard area routes. All routes 36 miles and longer will visit our familiar Milford Center rest stop serving pre-packaged sandwiches, snacks, fruit and drinks. The family and beginner oriented 8-mile route stays entirely on trails through lush parklands adjacent to the high school. The 75- and 102-mile routes will take a scenic route to Mechanicsburg where there will be an added rest/food stop at Goshen Park.  102 milers exploring beyond Mechanicsburg will be rewarded with an extra dose of magnificent rolling to hilly terrain.

Starting in early July, GPS courses will be available under the 2023 EVENT - BIKE ROUTES menu on this site.  Downloadable route maps will also available on that page in early July.

PLEASE READ THE NOTE ON THE BIKE ROUTES PAGE CONCERNING RECENT ROAD CONSTRUCTION ON OUR ROUTES.

Riders will begin their rides between 7:00AM and 10:00AM.
